Today I walked for 53:32:85, half of it barefoot. I was downtown to pick up my race packet, and there was no parking, so I had to walk about a mile in to the expo. I was wearing flip flops, which started rubbing blisters, so on the return trip, I went barefoot. I got some strange looks walking the streets downtown with no shoes, but at least the blisters didn’t get any worse.
I’m north of the Netherlands Antilles.
